Enhance the sense of space and give your interior a bright welcoming ambience. Even when closed, this two-section, panoramic sliding-glass roof fills the interior with light and lets your passengers enjoy expansive views of the surrounding environment. It opens and closes automatically via a slide button in the illuminated roof function centre and can also be operated using the key remote. Besides sliding back, the front glass panel can also be used as a vent roof and can be raised with a one-touch function. The rear glass roof element is fixed. An automatic wind deflector at the front lets you enjoy the sunshine and fresh air with reduced wind noise and turbulence. For improved sun protection, it is fitted with grey tinted glass.

Inspired by jet cockpit technology, the MINI Head-Up Display puts everything you want to know right in your line of sight. Installed on your dashboard, the transparent screen displays key data such as driving speed, maps, driver assistance features and entertainment details. As clear as can be, it provides excellent image quality even in brightly lit environments. You can easily adjust height and brightness, and you can tailor the information it displays to your needs. It also adapts to the MINI Experience Mode you have chosen so you enjoy a consistent and holistic experience – and stay fully in the picture.

See things you might have missed. In addition to LED daytime running lights and powerful Bi-LED low- and high-beams, this package offers cornering light in LED technology. This is adaptive light distribution with increased illumination at the sides enabling you to see around curves and corners – for city, rural and motorway traffic as well as in bad weather. The high-beam assistant detects oncoming vehicles, and automatically activates your low-beam to avoid dazzling other drivers. In the light menu, you can choose from three distinctive light signatures created by daytime running light, front and rear light combinations – complemented by a corresponding welcome and goodbye orchestration.

Immerse yourself in a compelling orchestration of light and sound. Choose from up to seven MINI Experience Modes and transform your interior into a new sensory experience. Each mode has its own creative design, colour, dynamic background and sound palette. Flick the switch in the toggle bar and personalise your surroundings to how you're feeling. Core, Go-kart and Green come as standard – and four optional modes – Personal, Timeless, Vivid and Balance – give you more ways to see, hear and feel your mood in the cockpit. The light projector bathes the whole dash in colours and patterns to match the Experience Mode selected. And the optional Head-up Display also adapts to the mode you have chosen.

Like having an extra pair of eyes. The camera and radar-based Driving Assistant warns you from a speed of 20 km/h or more about vehicles in the “blind spot” and if needed actively supports steering your MINI back into the lane. In addition it helps detecting crossing traffic behind you when you are reversing with your MINI. It also helps preventing accidents in the rear e.g. by warning approaching traffic by flashing your MINI ‘s hazard lights. Last but not least it warns you when you open the door for exiting your MINI in case there is a risk of a collision with traffic passing by from the back (e.g. a cyclist). Please note that the systems contained in this equipment only provide assistance within specifically defined limits. Comfort Access enables convenient locking and unlocking of the doors and tailgate by detecting and verifying the key in your pocket or bag. As you approach the vehicle (approx. 3 metres), the welcome lights are activated; at around 1 metre the vehicle unlocks, and when you walk away (approx. 2 metres) it locks automatically – making getting in and out effortless.

With MINI Digital Key Plus, you have the vehicle key on your compatible smartphone or smartwatch, offering the same functionality as a conventional key. You can unlock your MINI simply by approaching the vehicle and share the vehicle key with family or friends via messaging services.

With Remote Controls, you can take advantage of additional benefits of MINI Digital Key Plus: unlocking, locking, and raising or lowering the windows – just like with a key fob.
In combination with Parking Assistant Professional, you can conveniently maneuver your MINI in tight parking spaces via the MINI App.
Activation of MINI Digital Key Plus is quick and easy using the Setup Card. The included Service Card supports scheduled servicing, valet parking, or breakdown situations.

Electrically-folding side mirrors protect your MINI from damage when you park. The front-passenger side mirror tilts automatically when you reverse so you can see the curb. The smart-tinting glass dims to protect your eyes from glare. And you can save your preferred mirror and seat settings using the memory function. In cold weather, your mirrors automatically warm up to reduce condensation and prevent ice building up. And you get greeted on board every time by the MINI logo projection from your external mirror.

So in the winter months, this will keep your hands warm as you drive and make your daily commute or road trip a far more pleasant experience. When it comes to environmental friendlyness also a cool feature. Much more efficient than to heat up the whole interior, especially on short trips.

Warm and cozy couldn't be cooler. The optional seat heating in your MINI quickly heats up your front seats to a relaxing temperature that you can adjust to three levels to get you warmed up and relaxed when it's cold outside. It heats your seat cushion and the entire contact surface of the backrest to provide all-round comfort. In addition, the heat can be distributed however you like by simply using the Control Display.
